MyNBA 2K Companion App 12+

This app utterly fails as a companion for the game. It’s only capability is the face scan feature, which seemed promising but ultimately did not function properly in my case.

First off, while the face scan procedure seemed legit, it’s very frustrating because it will repeatedly fail. Then, when the app finally determines it successfully scanned your face (or perhaps it just gives up?), 2K24 will likely get stuck while downloading the data and the whole process must be repeated. Finally, after several more painful face scan attempts, passing the 50% stall point, 2K24 will probably issue an error saying it could find the face data.

I was so excited for this feature but was let down. Such a tease. Is it because I’m Asian? Is this software racist yo? Can devs please get this thing working for 2K25? I hope face scan -> video game character becomes standard. NBA 2K has the opportunity to be the pioneers of this technology. Two stars because I appreciate the attempt.

This app is absolutely terrible. The only reason this gets 2 stars is because it is a cool idea, otherwise, it’s a 1. Every time I scan my face I come out looking like Elmer Fudd (I’m not even bald). I’d also like to add that the scan takes like 10 minutes and looks nothing like me.

Half the time, my hair colors wrong, the other half, they don’t give me hair at all. There is nothing to compliment because this is basically the only feature. By the way, I’ve come to notice that the company does not respond to any reviews. Irresponsible.

This app is soooo bad ,disappointing and very disrespectful because how you have a successful company that gets a lot of money but can’t even fix your app. here are the reason why I’m writing this review the app is racist because why when I scan my face I was so happy to see what I would look like in the game until when it finished loading my face it came out so bad and the face looks nothing like me it literally looks like a ape I was so mad and sad. I honestly feel like the people who made 2k and this app really don’t care what other people say and there thoughts because if they did they would’ve already fix the face cam and all the other things but I hope they see this review because I’m getting tired of this.
